OK so some visitors to my blog may notice a new group I have started. the malt vinegar users club. this is just a new idea I wished to share with fellow users ( thanks to
Amy for inspiring this blog and group
).

Now not all Vinegars are the same infact there are more types and varietys out there then youd ever imagine.

"Malt vinegar is made by malting barley, causing the starch in the grain to turn to maltose. An ale is then brewed from the maltose and allowed to turn into vinegar, which is then aged. It is typically light brown in color." from wikipedia
where as :-
White
So-called "white vinegar" (actually transparent in appearance), or sometimes referred to as spirit vinegar, can be made by oxidizing a distilled alcohol.
Alternatively, it may be nothing more than a solution of
acetic acid
in water. Most commercial white vinegars are 5% acetic acid solutions

Todays tip :- try malt vinegar on chicken fried rice ( add soy sauce too if needed)
